Connecticut Shade
The Connecticut River Valley has cultivated premium tobacco for over a century. Under gossamer muslin shade tents, the leaves develop with exceptional tenderness — absorbing diffused light that produces a silky, thin-veined wrapper unlike any other in the world.
The cool, humid New England climate slows the growth cycle, allowing the leaf to develop natural sugars and oils that translate directly into the Heraldos experience: creamy, smooth, and quietly complex.
Each leaf is hand-selected, air-cured for 45 days, and undergoes a careful fermentation before being shipped to our Nicaraguan factory where master rollers pair it with aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler.
